We will discuss the story behind Tinker Nature Park and the thoughtful planning that shaped it into a treasured community resource. This lecture traces the park’s journey from its earliest beginnings as a farm in the 1800s to its present-day role as a center for outdoor learning, recreation, and conservation. Learn how its trails, educational facilities, and natural habitats were designed to inspire curiosity, protect the landscape, and welcome visitors of all ages. Blending local history with behind-the-scenes insight, this presentation offers a deeper appreciation of Tinker Nature Park and it's facilities, and invites audiences to see familiar spaces in a whole new way.
