Art & Garden Party is from June 20, 2026-July 4, 2026

We're happy to announce the sixth annual Tinker Homestead Art and Garden Party! It's time to start submitting your work! We would like to accept as many entries as possible, so please remember to submit before the deadline! We will be curating the displays throughout the Tinker Homestead Farm Museum and grounds. We will be inviting all artists to provide information for sales.

In recognition of the 250th Anniversary of our country, the 2026 Art Show Theme is Freedom

The first ten amendments to the Constitution of the United States, ratified by Congress on December 15, 1791 provide the basis for the freedoms that we have come to take for granted. The first amendment lists the freedoms with which we are most familiar:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Artists are encouraged to interpret the prompt as freely as they wish. What does the word “freedom” make them feel? What does “freedom” mean? Do they have a piece that inspires “freedom”?

PLEASE NOTE: This year as part of the exhibition, we are excited to offer two juried cash prizes. These awards will be given to artists whose works demonstrate exceptional creativity, technical skill, and originality, as determined by: The Friends of Tinker Board & Members, and a second "crowd favorite" prize as voted on by visitors.
