The Supervisor’s Office includes the Town Supervisor, Steve Schultz, the Deputy Town Supervisor, Craig Eckert, and the Administrative Assistant, Maria Nicchitta. The Town Supervisor is responsible for the overall management of the Town and all of the Department Heads in Town report to him. He is also the chair and member of the Town Board with an equal vote to the other four Council members of the Town Board.

The Supervisor’s Office has taken the lead on a number of projects for the Town, including:
- Expand the Senior Center - planned for 2025/26, funded by external dollars
- Build a new Municipal Dog Shelter - planned for 2025, funded by external dollars
- Improve the Riverton Oaks Municipal Golf Course - a lot already completed with more on the way
- Build a new clubhouse with restaurant for the Riverton Oaks Municipal Golf Course - planned for 2025/26, funded by external dollars
- Build a new sidewalk/bike path along East River Road - currently underway after years of delays by DASNY, funded by external dollars
- Repair the roof of Town Hall - currently underway, funded by external dollars
- Build a River Walk Trail from Riverwood Tech Park down to Breese Park and beyond - portions have been completed at each end, but the majority is being done through the LWRP initiative.
- Complete a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) plan - in the final stages at the New York Department of State
- Create a spray park - about 80% complete and will open in Summer 2025
- Push for reuse of existing buildings - numerous successes, including Marketplace Mall and Cartwright's Inn, but others still in the works
- Add sidewalks along key roads - completed five projects with more still to do
- Preserve open space - over 400-acres protected so far with more still in the works
- Preserve farmlands - over 600-acres protected so far with more still in the works
- Improvement in snow and ice removal - full plow run times reduced from about 5-hours to about 3.5-hours, with continual efforts to do even better
- New Town Park facilities - added playgrounds, pavilions, playpod trails, ACs, and revamped courts and field, with more still to do
- Expanded recreation - significant growth in gymnastics, youth programming, expanded concert series, with more still to do
- Sustainability Efforts - upgrading to LED streetlights, installing EV chargers, updating solar codes, tried Community Choice Aggregation, exploring public/private partnership for composting, with numerous successes and far more still to do
- Diversity Efforts - added multicultural programming, increased participation in MLK celebrations, started Pride Week celebrations, working to expand Native American celebration, created Diversity Committee to help drive the far more still to do
- Improved accessibility - Added accessible restroom in Town Hall, added accessible elements in our parks, added sign language interpreting to Town Board Meetings, streaming all Town Board Meetings, with more still to do
- Town Hall expansion to better serve residents - planned for 2026
The following are projects the Supervisor's Office has driven that have since been completed:
- Build a new Town Court - completed and opened in 2024
- Added Sewer Garage to free up space in our DPW facilities - completed and opened in 2023
- Build the new Henrietta Public Library - completed and opened on July 20, 2019
- Add air conditioning to the Recreation Center - completed in 2018
- Replace the Senior Center’s old asphalt roof with a new steel roof - completed
- Help to relocate the Monroe County Sheriff Office Zone B onto or next to the Town complex - completed by MCSO
- Adopt Farmland Protection Plan - completed and has protected over 400-acres and brought $3.5-million to area farmers
- Update the Town’s Comprehensive Plan - completed with many initiatives being used regularly
- Build new facilities garage - built starting at the end of 2021 and completing in 2022
- Remodel of Building / Planning departments - completed
